I would like to have my wedding dress altered to a cocktail dress, do you think this would be possible?
I had a dream princess dress which i fell in love with when i first saw it. The thought of never wearing it again saddens me as it was very expensive, i have a few balls coming up and wondered if it would be viable to have it altered to a cocktail dress, calf length, may be shorter in front longer at back to keep some of the train detail? is this something a good dress maker could do or would it ruin it?
maybe you could do that but wouldnt you want to save it for your little girl when she gets married
personally i think that shortening it would look funny form your dicriptions
